2. Runaway Love by Little Nicky
3. The Birth of Iyakotsu by Little Nicky
Inuyasha and Jakotsu meet up with each other deep in a forest, to be together. They realized their hidden affections towards each other and want to express them, through love. But after the night, Jakotsu gets a little more than just Inuyasha's loving touch.
“Jakotsu, where are you? Are you here yet?” Inuyasha whispered around, his golden eyes fixing all around the place. He ducked behind trees and even had to look under rocks. Jakotsu told him to meet him here, around midnight at the exact time. The silver-haired hanyou was starting to get impatient. He hates it for people to be late in meeting him someplace. Suddenly, he felt two arms wrap around his shoulders. Inuyasha felt someone breathe on his neck, then a giggle followed. “Sorry, I was kinda lost. I’m happy that you were waiting for me.” Jakotsu cooed. Inuyasha laughed and brought him in front of him and kissed him forcefully. Jakotsu was lift breathless in kissing the handsome hanyou back.
He welcomed Inuyasha’s tongue with his own, the two were dueling each other with their tongues. Jakotsu giggled in response and kissed Inuyasha all over his face. Some of Jakotsu’s red lipstick was starting to go all over Inuyasha’s face, making him look funny with all those red kiss marks on his face. It was sadden for Jakotsu because Bankotsu started to stop talking to him. He didn’t even want to look at the back of Jakotsu’s neck anymore. And it left the cross-dressing bandit heartbroken. He then learned that Bankotsu was seeing some other girl. Inuyasha was in the same state too. Sango had stolen both Kagome’s and Miroku’s hearts. He was confused and heartbroken, he couldn’t even ask why his lovers abandoned him for the same girl. Until he came around Jakotsu, also lonely, Inuaysha was on the edge of suicide. But he decided Jakotsu, since the boy couldn’t stop talking about him and would shower him with love.
Jakotsu moaned lusciously, throwing his head back as Inuyasha kissed down his neck. The hanyou licked down to his new lover’s neck to his flat chest. “Wait!” Jakotsu let out so suddenly, pushing gently at Inuyasha’s chest. Inuyasha paused to what’s wrong. Jakotsu only looked around to make sure they’re completely alone. He gets out of Inuyasha’s arms, goes around and looks to see if nobody’s coming. Inuyasha sniffed around in the air, to help make sure they will be alone for the rest of the night. “I don’t smell nobody from the nearest village. I’m sure we’ll be able to clear out by morning before anyone finds out. C’mon, Jakotsu. I don’t wanna linger. There’s nothing to worry about…..we’re completely alone.” Inuyasha sweet talked, grabbing Jakotsu in his crushing embrace.
Jakotsu sighed calmly, hoping Inuyasha’s right. He smiled and basked in his loving embrace. Inuyasha rocked the smaller boy in his embrace, letting him know that he’s there for him. They walked over to a perfect spot on the grass, next to a tall tree, where they could do their first time. Jakotsu giggled as he looked at Inuyasha since he looked funny, his face covered in Jakotsu’s lip marks. They locked lips again as Inuyasha lowers Jakotsu down by the tree. He starts removing Jakotsu’s kimono, and then the velvet strip that make it looks like it duct-taped Jakotsu’s chest, if he were a woman. Jakotsu moaned in the kiss, playing with Inuyasha’s furry dog ears as his lover continues treating him.
He sighed as they released each other’s lips, both their faces smeared in Jakotsu’s lipstick. But they ignored how their faces looked. Inuyasha continued kissing down to Jakotsu’s chest. He placed his hot, moist mouth over the bandit boy’s nips and started suckling upon them. Jakotsu threw his head back and then rested his chin on top of Inuyasha’s white head, in between his dog ears. He started to nibble on one of them as his lover continued on with the other nipple. Jakotsu moaned in pleasure, ignoring his hardness arousing. Inuyasha smiled in between his treatment as he went on. “Oh, Inuyasha….AHH!! OH!!! AH!!! Oh, Gods!!” Jakotsu kept moaning, hugging his new found lover close to him. Inuyasha stopped to look at him. “Sorry, was I going too fast or was I too rough?” He asked, his liquid yellow eyes fixed on Jakotsu’s deep dark-blue ones.
“You were okay, keep on going if you please.” Jakotsu tittered, placing a light kiss on Inuyasha’s lips. The white-haired half-breed happily obliged, he begins removing all of Jakotsu’s clothing, reviling his naked body. Jakotsu blushed nervously as his hanyou lover gazed down in his beautiful body. “Now why would you hide such a sexy body under that stupid kimono of yours?” Inuyasha sighed, his eyes journeying down to look at more of Jakotsu. The raven-haired bandit awaited for his lover to continue to make love to him. To touch him more lovingly that Bankotsu never did. He closed his eyes, as Inuyasha knelt down and kissed down some more.
Jakotsu then gasped as he felt Inuyasha slip his throbbing manhood into his mouth and gently suck. He threw his head back in pleasure, grabbing onto Inuyasha’s head. He starts to bop his lover’s head, as if to teach him how he likes to be sucked. Jakotsu moaned so loud, like it could reawaken the dead. He gasped as he felt Inuyasha’s fangs as well as his tongue, twirling around on his erection. He cried out Inuyasha’s name, hollering until he came in his lover’s mouth. He gasped in horror of what he just did, thinking that he might have choked Inuyasha with his length. “Oh, gods! Inuyasha I’m so sorry I…..” Jakotsu started to say but was cut off by Inuyasha’s sudden kiss. He quickly settled and kissed him back. He moaned as he enjoyed tasting himself on Inuyasha’s lips.
The white-haired boy laid the raven-haired down and removed his own clothing. He was starting to feel so driven, it was even too hot in his red outfit. With only the necklace around his neck, Inuyasha and Jakotsu were complete naked. Jakotsu breathed out in passion as his lover positioned himself in between his legs, his manhood beginning to enter Jakotsu’s tight barrier. “Oh, Inuyasha….I love you…” Jakotsu swooned, wrapping his arms around Inuyasha’s neck for support. “And I love you.” Inuyasha answered him before thrusting into him. The bandit gasped as he felt the sudden intrusion, but he pleaded for him to go on as it started to feel good. Jakotsu wanted to cry for joy, because he was with somebody who loved him and was right by his side when the one he thought he loved abandoned him.
The moonlight shone on their bodies as they moved hard in their erotic dance on the grass. Inuaysha’s long, white hair curtain over both of them and danced on Jakotsu’s body as he pushed into him. Jakotsu kept making pleasurable sounds as his hanyou lover started to move fast and harder. He cried out in pain though when Inuyasha dug his claws into the tender flesh of Jakotsu’s hips. “OW!! Watch the claws.” Jakotsu whined, Inuyasha paused to apologize and dug his claws in the ground before continuing. They moved rather violently as they made love under the full moon, both breathing uncontrollably. The hanyou and resurrected bandit were glad they were alone. They never thought they would be together. How fate has in stored for them.
Unbeknownst to them is that a bubble of blue and silver energy came in the air, almost resembling one of the souls that Kikyou steals from dead maidens. None of them noticed it coming at them, nor did they even felt it as it shot right into their bodies as they made love. First it shot in Inuyasha’s back then through Jakotsu’s body, along with their thrusting. It then settled into the bandit’s lower body as soon as he and his lover reached their climax. It completely started doing something inside as Inuyasha released his sweet-nectar into Jakotsu. Both of them screamed as they came. A few moments passed before Inuyasha panted and pulled out of Jakotsu. He rolled off him and wrapped his strong arms around him, hugging him close. “I feel so new. That was amazing, Inuyasha…..I never felt so more alive.” Jakotsu panted, his chest heaving as he hugged his new lover close to him.
“I guess we’re a pair now. I still feel bad about cheating on Miroku though. I wonder if Sango made her decision to be with Kagome and Miroku wants to come back to me.” Inuyasha said whimsically. Jakotsu rolled on him to kiss his lips. “Don’t worry about anybody else tonight. You were with me, and I was with you. That’s all that matters right now.” He told him, kissing down his neck. Inuyasha scoffed and ran his clawed fingers gently in Jakotsu’s hair. “And I guess the very thing that matters the most is that we loved each other. Am I right?” He asked, placing a hand under Jakotsu’s chin to look at him before the raven-haired bandit nodded in agreement.
They started to rest a few more minutes before getting dressed since it started to get cold out. They dressed rather slowly, keeping their eyes on each other and poking at one another. Laughing and resulting in a few more passionate kisses before they were finally fully clothed, locked in a tight embrace on the ground, fast asleep. Jakotsu happily snuggled in Inuyasha’s arms as his dream took him into sleep. Meanwhile in his body, the strange being was starting to take form inside. But Jakotsu has no idea about it…..yet!
Note: The lyrics which will continue onto the next chapter , are "Still" by Alanis Morissette. The song depicts the tragic separation of Inuyasha and Jakotsu. Just like with Roy and Ed in my “Revolutionary Alchemist” story.
~ One Month Later ~
The Band of Seven were celebrating their 150th raid by drinking sake, and having to order people to sing and dance for them. The scared entertainers were forced to do so, in order for the vicious killers to spare their lives. The only one who’s not having much of a good time is Jakotsu. As the days go by since his secret love affair with a certain hanyou, Jakotsu has started to get sick in the mornings, vomiting like he’s trying to puke his guts out. He never felt so miserable in his life. He wished for Inuyasha to comfort him right now, because not even Bankotsu is helping. He glared in jealousy and anger as he watched Bankotsu enjoying his party with his new girlfriend, Sayura. She wore a long violet kimono, and her long black hair was tied up in a long ponytail, making Jakotsu jealous. He was more jealous because his new lover wasn’t here with him.
But what really bother Jakotsu more is he’s rather eating a whole pot of ramen and rice, than to drink sake. The smell of sake made him sicker, and yet he would eat and eat instead. He hid in his room, gulping down what he could take. He didn’t want to pig out in front of his friends and ex as he gobbles down his meal like he was starving. And to make his strange conditions worse, Jakotsu’s chest was starting to feel tender. “Geez, this sickness is driving me crazy. Its like I’m pregnant or something.” He said to himself, then his eyes popped wide open of what he just said. “Yeah right, Me, pregnant! There’s no way I could…….” Jakotsu laughed to himself then paused as Inuyasha came back into mind. “Inuyasha…..what if….back at that cove where we….Oh gods! What if I’m pregnant? The vomiting in the mornings, the strange hunger cravings, the way my chest hurts. What if I’m really pregnant with Inuyasha’s kid?” Jakotsu panicked.
He looked at himself in a full-body sized mirror. He patted his hands and felt all over his stomach. He pressed on that spot of where a baby would be growing in him. He then felt a pulse that wasn’t his. Jakotsu gasped in fear, cupping his hands over his make-up covered face. I ‘I better go see a doctor tomorrow before anyone finds out.’ He quickly thought. Jakotsu crawled under the covers on his bed and tried to sleep it off. If he was pregnant, how will it effect him and Inuyasha, and all the friends and foes around them. Then Jakotsu was starting to worry, if Naraku finds what that the bandit of the Band of Seven was bearing an enemy’s child, that would put them all in jeopardy. Jakotsu tried not to think about it and fall sleep.
~ Next Morning ~
Jakotsu laid back down on a futon, while a female doctor examined his body. Since she thought he was a woman, worried about being pregnant, he used the false name of Akoushi. “Okay, just relax Miss Akoushi, and I’ll see if this could be anything from pregnancy to a stomach infection. Please just be still.” The doctor told him. Jakotsu closed his eyes as he felt her hands pressed all over his lower body. After of few minutes of studying him, the doctor gasped and then smiled at him. “Well, my congratulations, you’re going to have a baby, Miss Akoushi.” She tittered. But Jakotsu was not amused. He started to freak out and then without a word, he dashed out of the doctor’s hut. ‘Oh gods! I’m pregnant!! With Inuyasha’s child!! I have to get out of here. Who knows what’ll happen to me, him, and little one!’ He fearfully thought, running all the way to where he and the gang are hanging out at.
He quickly grabbed his things, along with his sword and escaped out of the window. He knows he can’t linger with his friends if they find out he’s pregnant, even with Inuyasha’s child. He fears they might turn on him and kill him and maybe cut the child out and let it die outside it’s ‘Mother’s’ womb. Jakotsu tearfully ran away and left to find Inuyasha. Maybe he’ll help him, it’s his baby too. Jakotsu was starting to think that maybe they’ll start a life together, raising their child. He was wondering if the baby will look so much like Inuyasha, but with his eyes. Jakotsu practically laughed at the cute idea.
He decided to rest awhile before traveling the next mile to the village Inuyasha lives. He could just see it from the distance over in the horizon on the hill he’s on. Jakotsu happily smiled to himself, really looking forward to telling Inuyasha that he’s gonna become a father. He couldn’t help thinking if he and Inuyasha would get married and raise their child together so happily. “You’ll just be endangering your offspring if Naraku finds out. If Inuyasha knows, then Naraku knows. He will soon find you and take Inuyasha’s child away from you. And he’ll maybe kill him too.” a deep, soothing male voice called out from nowhere. Jakotsu gasped in surprise and turned to find who’s there. He jumped back in fright as a handsome face was right in front of him as he turned in the other direction.
“Damn you, Sesshoumaru! You almost gave me a friggin’ heart attack. And how the hell did you know about my pregnancy?!” Jakotsu shouted at him, his hand on his heart, unable to breathe. His face was flushed with anger since he hates to be surprised. Sesshoumaru stared down at the cross-dressing bandit, then walked past him a few paces, staring down at his brother’s village. “I really pity for you two, I really do. But heed my words, Naraku will learn of you bearing my brother’s child. If he gets his hands on it, Inuyasha’s life will soon be taken by his own offspring by Naraku’s command. Kagura must have already know of your affair. If you believe my warning, then you have no choice.” He softly said, his back turned on Jakotsu. The bandit boy balked in confusion and fear. He wasn’t sure of what Seshoumaru’s getting at. But if Naraku has heard of this, then both Inuyasha and his child will be in danger.
“You’ll do well in protecting them both, not that I don’t really care. But that’s no ordinary child you’re bearing. No different from my brother or any other hanyou.” Sesshoumaru said as he departs. Jakotsu just stood there, his eyes widen with shock and scared concern. He paid no attention as Seshoumaru walked off and disappeared. Jakotsu whimpered and clutched the part of where his child is growing. ‘Oh gods, what if Sesshoumaru is right? What if Inuyasha or our baby will be killed by Naraku because of our forbidden love? I might be putting them in danger.’ He fearfully thought, tears coming to his eyes. But he wants to keep the baby, it was a part of his new found love. Jakotsu even fears that Bankotsu might find out and will kill Inuyasha himself.
I am the harm which you inflict
I am your brilliance and frustration
I'm the nuclear bombs if they're to hit
I'm your immaturity and your indignance
A clawed hand grabbed Jakotsu from behind, making him jump. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you. I followed your scent from the village. I was happy that you came.” Inuyasha quickly said. Jakotsu sighed deeply and hugged him close. “Oh, Inuyasha! I couldn’t sleep for days without thinking about you.” He cried out, his arms around the half-breed’s neck. Inuyasha sighed deeply and hugged him back. “If you’re hungry, I’ve brought you some fish I’ve caught in the river.” He suddenly said. Jakotsu wished to refuse since the thought of fish would make him sick. But with the pregnancy making him to have uncontrollable eating habits, Jakotsu accepted. He nervously chewed up his fish, but managed not to have a worried look on his face so that Inuyasha would get suspicious. “Sorry.” Inuyasha spoke out of the blue in the middle of their meal. Jakotsu looked up with a look, like a curious child, with fish meat in his mouth.
“I mean that, I was so busy with the others for a whole month, that’s why you haven’t heard from me.” Inuyasha said. “I was apologizing for not being able to come and see you since that night of our lives. You remember?” Jakotsu hiccupped and giggled a bit before answering Inuyasha’s question. “Oh, you’re alright.” Was all he replied. It had already gotten to nightfall before Jakotsu was the last one to finish all his fish dinner. Inuyasha kissed him on the cheek before telling him, “You know I would die if anything would happen to you?” Jakotsu answered him with a simple nod. Inuyasha told him good night before sleeping aside the log behind him.
After a few minutes of him nervously chewing the last of his food down, Jakotsu heard Inuyasha’s gentle breaths. He turned around slowly to find him fast asleep, smiling contently on his back. Jakotsu waited several more minutes before standing up, pulling a note out of his shirt and placed a rock on it as he set it a foot away from Inuyasha’s head.
‘I’m so sorry, Inuyasha, I’m just so scared for us. Maybe I should heed Sesshoumaru’s words. I can’t be burden to you, not now. Just stay alive for me, my only love. Please….please, please Inuyasha, never give up on yourself.’ He wept inside before turning around and quietly walking away.
I am your misfits and your praised
I am your doubt and your conviction
I am your charity and your rape
I am your grasping and expectation
~ Morning ~
Inuyasha woke up rather slowly that morning, the light hurting his sensitive eyes for a moment before they adjusted. As he sat up, the first thing he was aware of was that the sun was rather high in the sky, so he supposed he’d overslept a couple hours, very unlike him. The next thing he noticed was that Jakotsu and his bedroll were nowhere in sight.
‘Maybe he’s gone to the bathroom….or he got hungry and went fishing….huh?’ he thought, then saw a stone atop a small piece of paper. He picked it up and flipped the note open, reading:
My Dearest Inuyasha,
I know this is very sudden and its nothing you did, really. I am just so scared right now. Something has happened to me that I can’t explain, something I don’t even understand myself. I don’t want to be a burden to you, so I have left. By the time you read this note, I’ll be very far away. So, please don’t bother to find me, I’ll be alright.
Love Forever,
Jakotsu
Inuyasha twitched as he read the note, his heart shattered repeatedly as he read it over and over again, trying to fathom it all. "I….I….Jakotsu. I drove him away. Its….I did this to him. Jakotsu….NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I won’t lose you, not this time! Jakotsu!!" He shouted, cramming the note in his pants pocket.
I see you averting your glances
I see you cheering on the war
I see you ignoring your children
And I love you still
And I love you still
He ran away from the campsite, his demon speed carrying him through the forest as fast as he could manage. ‘No, please, Jakotsu! Don’t do this to me, I won’t lose you, I can’t lose you!! I can’t lose you like I lost Miroku. I will find you. Please be alive for me! JAKOTSU!!!!’ his mind screamed as he rocketed over the horizon. His golden eyes watering with mournful tears as he searches nonstop for his new beloved. Inuyasha speeded up towards even the end of the world to find his beloved Jakotsu.
I am your joy and your regret
I am your fury and your elation
I am your yearning and your sweat
I am your faithless and your religion
Note: The continuing song of “Still” by Alanis Morissette. Plus a second song “Dreaming of You” by the late Selena, to depict Jakotsu’s separation from his beloved Inuyasha and of how much he wished for him to meet their son, Iyakotsu.
~ Eight Months Later, Setsuna Village ~
A strange, pregnant, raven-haired woman started to gasp harshly, then she started screaming bloody murder. She grasped her large, swollen belly as another contraction hit her hard like a ton of bricks. “Someone help me!!! My baby’s coming! Oh, OWW!!!! I’m dying, my baby’ll die!!! Someone help me, please!!!” She hollered, her voice rather deep and husky. She screamed some more as her water broke, splashing everywhere as it erupted down her legs. Several people in the local restaurant helped with her and lead her to the shrine where her child will be delivered. “Just hang in there, Miss Akoushi. You and your child will be alright.” One of them coaxed her. Akoushi was unable to use her feet to help carry her to the shrine. The gripping pain in her entire body made it impossible for her to even try.
“We’re here, Miss Akoushi. You can do it, the worst part is over with.” One of her carriers told her. But even with no pain, Akoushi bonked him on the head. “You idiot! The worst part is YET to come. OH!!! Hurry, get me inside, my baby wants out!!” She shouted. They continued carrying her inside until they sat her down on a comforting futon. The shrine’s priest and his priestesses entered the room. “Alright Miss Akoushi, spread out your legs so we’ll deliver that baby out in no time.” He said. “No wait!! Could you use a cesarean instead?! Please, just do so!” Akoushi demanded. The priest nodded and got to work. He placed a blanket over a rail and hover it in front of Akoushi, so she wouldn’t see what they’re doing.
She felt a certain spell used on her, to both numb her lower body and to ease her awareness so she’ll feel no pain while they’re cutting open her stomach to reach the baby. Akoushi relaxed herself as her entire body went completely numb, the pain finally leaving her. But what everyone in this village, very unbeknownst to them is that this woman is no woman at all. Her real name isn’t even Akoushi. She is in fact one on of the dreaded Band of Seven, Jakotsu. He used a false name, disguised himself as a woman and came to this small village of Setsuna, in order to hide his mysterious pregnancy. He was even careful to have a C-Section instead of a normal birth so nobody will discover his true self. Hiding himself isn’t easy as the pregnancy was difficult on him.
Jakotsu woke up several hours later, to find that he had passed out during the operation. He was startled at first, but he saw that everyone who helped with his delivery was nursing him back to perfect health. Jakotsu felt on his belly, no longer swollen. But it had a large scar across his abdomen, of where the operation took place. Then he remembered that the scar took place of something. “My baby, where’s my baby?!” He demanded. “Calm yourself, Miss Akoushi. Your child is safe. Congratulations, you have a son.” The priest proudly told him. Then one of his priestesses brought over a cute little bundle, wrapped up in a warm blanket. Jakotsu could see a tuft of shiny white hair atop of the baby’s head.
I see you altering history
I see you abusing the land
I see you and your selective amnesia
And I love you still
And I love you still
The baby gurgled a bit as he was put into his ‘Mother’s’ arms. Jakotsu rained tears all over his face as he held his son in his arms. The baby’s eyes were close, as if he were sleeping. The very top of the child’s head was covered in the blanket, like a bonnet. Jakotsu unveiled the whole head and gasped as he looked over it. The baby had Inuyasha’s white, soft, pointed dog ears, soft pink inside, and very short fur on the outside. The white dog ears were soft to touch, but they were very sensitive. Jakotsu gently touched the dog ears, which were so sensitive, the baby woke up. He opened his eyes, which were each two colors on each eye. One golden, the other dark. The priestesses in the room gasped as they saw the child’s eyes and ears. They were shocked to see that this child was a hanyou. Nobody, not even the priest dared to ask Jakotsu/Akoushi who the child’s father was.
I am your tragedy and your fortune
I am your crisis and delight
I am your profits and your prophets
I am your art, I am your bytes
They left the room to allow Akoushi to be alone with her child. They closed the door tight, so nobody will disturbed them. Jakotsu rocked his baby boy in his arms. Crying with both joy that he has a son, but with sorrow because his beloved wasn’t here to see their beautiful son. He moaned Inuyasha’s name as he hold the only part that he has left of him. “I’m so sorry little one. Hopefully one day, your father will find us and there won’t be any threats among us. Just so you know, I still love your father very much, That’s why I left him. Because I care about his safety as much as yours.” Jakotsu tearfully said. Tears fell from his eyes and onto the baby’s small face. Jakotsu kissed his forehead, getting a light smile and cute breathing sound from his son. The baby then yawned and closed his eyes gently. “Iya….kotsu. Iyakotsu! That will be your name. Named after your father and I. I’ll love you forever, Iyakotsu, my little angel.” Jakotsu whispered. “Hopefully your father will find us very soon. I hope he knows that I still love him.”
I am your death and your decisions
I am your passion and your plights
I am your sickness and convalescence
I am your weapons and your light
Kagura overhears of whatever Jakotsu is saying. She grins, knowing that it is Inuyasha’s son that was just born. The other priestesses and their priest leader were just slaughtered after delivering Jakotsu’s son. She was in disguise since she heard Jakotsu to be pregnant with Inuyasha’s child and came to this village. The bodies lay all over the place, blood ran everywhere. “Does he really think that being apart from Inuyasha will actually keep two of his loved ones safe? He really is stupid, mostly for betraying his own comrades for falling for their enemy. But don’t you threat, Jakotsu. Your son and your dear Inuyasha will see each other soon. Naraku will have plans for the both of them someday. We’ll allow you to live a happy life with him. Inuyasha will find you soon, I promise.” She secretly said to him, though he couldn’t hear her. But she was glad at that way.
Kagura used her powerful wind fan to clear off the bodies, so Jakotsu won’t find them. “DISPOSE GUST!” She whispered loudly, but softly so Jakotsu couldn’t hear her. And with one swing of her fan, the wind blew and the bodies were decomposed in a matter of minutes. Like they were nothing but ashes. Then the whole place was cleaned up, not a drop of blood left. Kagura grinned and threw back on her perfect disguise, a much more younger priestess, showing not a sign of evil on her. She slide open the door to Jakotsu’s room to check on him, or rather pretending to. “Is everything alright, Miss Akoushi?” Her fake voice was sweet and chirpy. Jakotsu was just putting baby Iyakotsu in his basket, where he had already fallen asleep. His small fists were poking out of the blanket he was wrapped in as he slept.
I see you holding your grudges
I see you gunning them down
I see you silencing your sisters
And I love you still
And I love you (still)
Jakotsu brushed his hair a little, to look more of a woman. “Everything is fine, ma’am. My son just fell asleep a while ago. He’s a blessed angel from Heaven. He’s the only part of my beloved before we departed from each other.” He spoke in a perfect woman’s tone. “I’m so sorry that you had to be separated from your lover. But may I ask of what you just named your son?” Kagura asked. “His name is Iyakotsu.” Jakotsu/Akoushi answered quietly, not taking his/her eyes off the baby. He was beginning to wonder of why the priestess didn’t say anything about his son being a half-breed. ‘Must have been trained to guess it and find that hanyous are not much of threats like true demons.’ He thought. “You get yourself some rest, Miss Akoushi. You and your son will go home in the morning. You’ll be needing some energy to walk home while carrying your baby home.” Kagura told him before departing. Jakotsu nodded and went to sleep himself on his futon, his dreams taking him into a tranquil slumber. Kagura grinned wickedly as soon as she was out of the shrine and flew off in her giant feather.
I see you lie to your country
I see you forcing them out
I see you blaming each other
And I love you still
And I love you still
~ Four Years Later ~
Jakotsu looked back at his terrible days as being a notorious killer in the Band of Seven before being killed and then resurrected. He sat by the window, the breeze blowing in his now more gentle face. His whole lifetime changed forever since he met Inuyasha and fell in love with him. But thinking about him now just pains his heart since he’s not here with him. And having and raising Iyakotsu alone was a complete change in his life. The boy had grew up peacefully and happily. And yet he had no idea that his mother was a male, aside from the fact that he was sort of like a zombie but yet alive enough to live a normal life again.
What amazes Jakotsu is that Iyakotsu isn’t like all other babies, not just because he was a hanyou. He had been a very well behaved and mannered baby and was even better as a toddler. Jakotsu had never changed a diaper or dealt with him crying at two in the morning, nothing. Iyakotsu would crawl to the outhouse himself, which scared his mother. He’d taken him to the local priests and priestesses time and time again to ask if he was all right, since he wasn’t acting like most babies. Jakotsu had seen babies in his time and they needed constant care, changing, supervision, and above all, they did not have self-control over their bodies just yet, but Iyakotsu didn’t have any of that. He was the sweetest, cleanest and quietest baby in the entire town, but his two-colored hanyou eyes set him apart from the rest of the children. So Jakotsu had to home school him since he’s so smart anyway.
Iyakotsu had grown into a cute but handsome young boy, looking a lot like his hanyou father, but with one gold eye and one ebony eye. His white hair had grown over his shoulders, tying it in a ponytail in the same style as his mother. And Iyakotsu’s cute dog ears were so sensitive, that he could hear a cricket chirp a mile away from the other side of town. He could even smell from distances, more powerful than his father could. He was even better at playing Hide & Seek, if anyone ever plays with him. Iyakotsu only has a small dog he named Toku to keep him company whenever his mother’s away. But sadly for the pup, Toku was born blind, he can only rely on Iyakotsu or his own nose and ears to guide him.
Iyakotsu just came into the room, watching as his mother was looking out at the window, his hand supporting his chin. Jakotsu looked different, his hair down and his face looked different without the make-up. His eyes were too busy noticing Iyakotsu looking up at him, too busy gazing out into the sky. Only in his mind, Jakotsu could see Inuyasha’s image, silhouetting with the scenery of Setsuna Village. Jakotsu felt like crying since he missed him, and fact he’s been missing him for the past four, lonely years. He could barely sleep at night, never not thinking or dreaming about Inuyasha, his true love.
Late at night when all the world is sleeping
I'd stay up and think of you
And I'd wish on a star
That somewhere you are thinking of me too
Even Iyakotsu knows his mother to be missing his father so much, pining for his true love for so long. But yet he doesn’t understand why his mother left his father without ever telling all about him. The small hanyou worries for his male mother at times. Whenever he cries himself to sleep or if Iyakotsu does something that reminds him of Inuyasha, Jakotsu would be like the living dead person he is. Just being apart from Inuyasha was death enough. And he had to let fear conquer over him for the first time of his life. Poor Iyakotsu must be going through hard enough time without his father around to keep his mother alive.
Cuz I'm dreaming of you tonight
Till tomorrow, I'll be holding you tight
And there's nowhere in the world I'd rather be
Then here in my room,
Dreaming about you and me
Right now since its Iyakotsu’s fourth birthday coming up, the boy was wondering if his mother’s alive and well to celebrate it. He’s already going back into his sorrowing daze at missing his love since its around the anniversary of the day they first met. Not that Iyakotsu knows anything about it. Jakotsu just gazed out into the window, out into the scenery, only seeing Inuyasha’s handsome face in his mind. “Jakotsu….” He could hear his beloved whisper his name. A small tear fell out of his eye as Jakotsu wished to really reach out to him. “Inuyasha…my love….” He whispered back. He still paid no attention that little Iyakotsu was piping out from in the next room.
Wonder if you even see me
And I wonder if you know I'm there
If you looked in my eyes
Would you see what's inside?
Would you even care?
But Iyakotsu does know that his mother’s going weirded out with loneness. He saddens for him and goes back to his room. He holds his blind puppy in his arms, Toku gives the boy a lick on the cheek. “I wish my daddy will find us soon, Toku. My mama can’t stand being alone without him.” He said to his dog. Toku only whined since he doesn’t understand human language, even though his master was half of a dog himself. “C’mon, let’s go out and play. My mama needs some alone time.” Iyakotsu reached for Toku’s leash and hook it up to the dog’s collar. “I’m going out to play mama.” Iyakotsu called out. Jakotsu heard him, but kept his back turned and waved a hand to him, only telling him to stay out of trouble and to be back by sunset.
Luckily for Toku, his nose was more helpful whenever his master takes him out for a walk. Iyakotsu walked around town to see a lot of things going on. Toku barely barks at anybody since he can never see. He has nothing to bark about even if he can smell or hear them. Just then, Iyakotsu stopped as a lot of people were busy looking at a new stranger in town. Iyakotsu looked up to see why people were staring at him, this person looked to be stranger than him. He had a busy tail and canine like feet. He looked to be a few years older than Iyakotsu. ‘Is he a half-demon like me?’ Iyakotsu asked him in his mind. He decided on not wondering anymore since he’ll get in trouble again with asking stupid questions to strangers. But as he turned around, the bushy-tailed stranger saw him and called out to him. “Hey you! Little boy with white hair! Yes you, with the dog!” He called out as Iyakotsu turned around. He walked up to him and looked all over him, head to toe.
“My mama doesn’t want me to be talking to strangers. Even though they’re hanyous too.” He told the older boy, rather proudly. “I’m not a hanyou, I’m a full demon. But I’m a kitsune, so I’m a good demon. My name is Shippo.” Iyakotsu balked at the sound of the older boy’s name. Because his mother once knew a small kitsune named ‘Shippo’. “Your name is Shippo? My mama told me that my daddy once knew a little boy by that name.” He sprouted, never letting go of his blind puppy. But Toku never squirmed or fidgeted. “And who would your parents be, might I ask? Because you look an awful lot like someone I once knew.” Shippo puzzled. “My mama said my daddy’s name was Inu…yasha…Inuyasha. That’s my daddy’s name.” Shippo gasped at that name, shock to learn that this little boy is his ally’s son. “And who might I ask, is your mother’s name?”
“Uh….Ja…ko…tsu…My mama’s name is Jakotsu. Why? Do you know who ‘She’ is and do you know where my daddy is? Because mama’s lonely without him. An’ I wanna meet him.” Iyakotsu sprouted in a cute tone, holding his blind puppy close. Shippo only looked shocked to learn that Inuyasha had a son with one of the Band of Seven, instead of having one with Kagome or Miroku. He snapped out of his shocked state when the little hanyou started playing with his fluffy tail. “Um….do you know where you live? I need to have a word with your….*Ahem* Mother.” He asked rather politely. “Okay, but only if you promise not to be mean to my mama. If you know where my daddy is, you have to let her know.” Iyakotsu promised. Shippo nodded and snickered in amusement. The boy must not have any idea that his mother is a male. Iyakotsu took Shippo’s hand and lead the way to his house.
