This was one of the best stories I have read. You developed all of the characters so I understood their POV and extended the Inuyasha universe. Please make it into a series.
As one of your new fans, I want to know how : Kagome makes out as a new demon, how Sesshomaru adapts to his new family life, how Rin and Shippo grow up, how a demon slayer and an ex-monk adjust to being demons and if they have any demon children, how Kikyo and Inuyasha finally get their shot at happienss and how they rule their new land, and if a rejeuvenated and sexy Kaede finds her happiness too? And, Of course, can they still go down the well to Kagome's home and what new world will they find there?

Well thank you so very much. I am blushing. I do plan to do a sequel. There has been too much of a demand for me to ignore it. I am working on it as a side project. As soon as I conclude Life on the Island, I will start posting the sequel. I had no idea that so many people would want the story to go on. I actually thought that I was dragging it out too long. I do have to say that I am happy that I was wrong. Thank you so very much again for taking the time to review. Reviews are an author's oxygen; they keep up going when we are stuck.

Applause again! Still heart wrenching, seeing enemies become brothers and friends as it should be. I can't wait to see the affect this will have on the future. I can almost see the devastation done to the castle. Awesome how they come into their power, it sounds like something beautiful to watch from a distance that is. Excelllent! I just read your answer to another reviewer about not promising a happy ending because real life does not always end like that. I hope you don't do a sad ending because when I read, it's to escape reality where there are only happy endings. The characters can have all the problems they want during the story but in the end everything is suppose to work out for a happy ending. Why should I want reality when I'm living it. Whenever I come across a completed story that catches my interest, I always check the last chapter. If it doesn't end happy, I don't read the story. I know I'm taking a chance whenever I read a story that's being updated.

Just hang in there I can promise that you won't be disappointed. There may be some tragedy along the way though. An ending is only happy if it is the way that you want it. There wouldn't be much of a point to writing this if nothing worked out so don't worry too much. I plan to make this a story that you will want to read to get away from real life. Hope I was able to ease your fears.

I just had to add another review in response to InuAngel which I just read. Thank you and bless you for being such a strong person. Your daughter is blessed for having you as a mother. My mother stayed single for many years until thankfully she met my stepfather who adopted me and gave me not only his name but his heart full of love. Don't give up. There is someone out there for you and your daughter.

Awesome story! I love it and am glad that I ran across it! It's Sessy and Kagome, there is so much I can say about your story but I have to finish my paper for tomorrow. It's sad in the beginning, that Kagome was holding onto hope that Yash would choose her, that her self esteem and self worth was that low. With Yash knowing that she has feelings for her, he took advantage of her kindness and heart as well as took her for granted, well in short kinda strung her like like a jerk would, that kiss was a slap in the face. I am not a Yash hater, but your Yash is most likely how I believe he would act if he could fully have Kikyo back, great job. Sess, with him is all bout strength, loyalty and honor and I'm glad he is changing towards Kagome, seeing her true worth as a woman and a friend and potetial lover. To bad Shippou had to grow up, he's so cute! Sess is still cool Sess, and it's just cute to see him forcing himself to change his ways towards her, I know she earned his respect by just being herself but he is seeing that dominance isn't everything and dropping a bit of pride and submitting to what she needs isn't a sign of weakness. Your story is excellent! I'm hooked like a good book. I hope he can go through the well with her, I believe it works with the heart. How are her friends dealing with what Yash did? Letting her go like that without a fight? How is Yash gonna feel when he learns that Kikyos spell is only temporary? Ohhhh! I loved the description Sessy gave about Kikyo, I feel the same way, she is just to uppity, full of herself know it all, who betrayed herself, her love and his friends. She changes sides like most of us girls change our underwear. Not only that she was fooled so easily by someone she claimed to love and worse, she didn't accept her love for who he was, she wanted him to change. That was so wrong, I feel the same as Sess about her. Not bashing her just telling the truth, well, from my point of view. Anyway, your story is great I can't wait to read more so I hope you update real soon. I know Kagome's mom is gonna love him, by the way he treats her. I can't wait for more. Ohh I'm glad you didn't make your Kagome bow down to him, let her keep herself. Fiesty and independant! Write on!

I like the beginning of your fic. Seems like Inuyasha is betraying her every chance he gets. And kagome? Well who wouldn't jump at the chance of going with Sesshomaru? I'd tell Kagome to drop Inuyasha like last years news and take the hotter demon......

I do believe I like the Lord of the West as a brutal beast - no, strike that, I love him that way. Keep it up, this is a great read! Rin is so very cute; I especially loved her spinning in circles; such a Rin-like thing to do.
