Yikes! Well, at least he has his memory, but why grab the jewel? And why say anything? Well, wait a sec... InuYasha is quite rash...lol

Inuyasha is was already an impulsive guy BEFORE he lost his memory. He was anxious, nervous, and when Kagome reacted the way she did, he panicked. Poor guy wasn't really thinking clearly, which doesn't work out too well for him.
