Some may see "your" Sess as OOC, but all things taken into account, I see it as pretty close to accurate. After all, we've seen the "ice lord" grow up quite a bit thanks, I think, to Rin's influence! I totally hated him early on in the anime series, but I've come to like him these days. Especially after Rin's almost death in Final Act. Looking forward to the coming chapters greatly! Has me thinking of all kinds of ideas for my own stories, which I owe you for since my muse has been hiding away for a while now! Thanks again for the story, and keep up the good work!

Thanks, I have a hard time with Sesshomaru's character for a lot of reasons, but Sesshomaru in battle was a pretty hard role to write him in. In the anime and manga, I had to go watch a few more episodes and read a little more to get his character as accurate in battle as possible. But do to the fact that InuYasha's human group was there in the way, I could see him getting a 'little' frustrated over the matter.
I don't mind Sesshomaru, its all the fans and the horrible things they have done to him I don't particular enjoy. (The Sess/Kag pairing for instance). I'll shall update as soon as I can! Trying to finish 'Modern Hanyou' and start on my next one as soon as I close my polls on ff.net. If your interested, (and if you have a ff.net account) you can vote for the next story I should start! :D

Author's Response: Yep, Kagome really didn't know about mating rituals and so she acted to defend both of them. Personally, I don't hate Kouga, and I didn't want him dying, so Kagome was the resulting factor to stop the death match between the two. I have other plans for Kouga, and InuYasha will it explain through her thick skull later. ;) I'll update soon! :)

OMG, I can't wait for the fight between Inuyasha and Koga, I'm really not a big fan of his, and hope that Inuyasha beats the crap out of him. On a lighter note, another great chapter and I can't wait for the next one. You did a great job with Shippo's comedic relief in this chapter, when things started to get a little tense.
Author's Response: Oh yes, InuYasha and Kouga are eyeing each other like cold fire! I don't hate Kouga personally, but Kagome belongs with InuYasha, so they will fight. First off really good story, but there was no corn in Japan 500 years ago. Corn is a new world food and did not get to Europe till after Colombus (it got to Japan even later). Even today there is almost no fresh corn in Japan, it is almost all imported from the U.S. Sorry to nitpick but the corn thing sort of threw me off of the story for a momen. Anyway great story hope to read more soon!
Author's Response: Ohh...tell you the truth, I had no idea that was true. I'm a math person, my history is bad, I'm glad you pointed it out. I live in the US and have never left, so I have no idea what grows over there! XD Of course I could look it up, but the reason was becasue I was eating corn when I typed up the chapter, so I just put it in without thinking. I'll see if I can just change it to something else.
