Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad that you liked it so much! I thought about writing a sequel, but eventually scratched that idea. As for where the idea for this story came from it's not inspired by any actual event in my life or anything. I just thought to myself what would happen if Kagome and Inuyasha lost a child? Would it break them up like it does so many couples who lose their children or would it make them stronger? I thought it would be an interesting twist to make them break up for a little while. Of course they end up back together in the end though. I'm a die hard Inu/Kag fan so I can't ever keep them apart! :)

this story is so sad! oh my god! they should rethink counseling if nothing else Kags should what she learns she can always tell Inu but niether are handling this right mourning is one thing but depression is another
Author's Response: They SHOULD seek counseling, but I doubt they will. They are both stubborn. It's definitely a sad story that's for sure. I feel bad for them. The abuse I put these poor characters through... If memory serves me correct there is one more chapter left. Things will surely never be the same for them, but after the death of a child things rarely are.

Author's Response: Yes it's a very sad story. It won third place for best tearjerker on the ED site, but I can't put the banner up on this site. Oh well. It will definitely be a sad story. I actually cried a few times as a wrote it. I'm such a softie sometimes. :)
