Last year we did not make our quota and that really means that this year could be the last time that InuYasha Fanfiction may remain up. The mods chipped in, mostly Nile, and covered the remainder of the hosting. It's amazing to read all of the fanfics, especially the variations in both Canon and Alternate universes.

I do have a deviantart profile, but I'm just too damn busy to promote and to do provide any fan art. If someone donates $25 for a fanart piece that took me 10 hours to do, that's not a fair deal and I wouldn't expect anyone to offer to do that.

$25? You are charging way too little. The fan art you most recently put up is somewhere near $50 in terms of value.

That would be ideal, but at the moment, I don't have time to create fan art myself. I just snuck in time to update one of my fanfics this week.
Or organizing a donation drive with multiple fan artists.
We've never had to do that in the past anyway. We may end up getting Google Adsense in the next week, since this year we've received $0 so far.

We'll put the idea about the fan art and pricing for them in the future. I vector my fan art, not paint, so it's a little different than painting.
Otherwise, if you know any fan artists that might donate 1 piece toward selling for this group... that may be cool.
I'm not throwing the idea away... but the problem is I don't want fan artists donating pieces to feel like its some chore.

I am the only one who has donated so far so based on last year's total need of $500, this year needs $450 more.

SonofZhon is correct... $450 is what is left of the balance. I've already chipped my end that got us to $500.
